Madrid apartments used to be – like us? – A little exciting, but not anymore. A wave of chic minimalism and avant-garde interpretations of traditional architecture extends through the city with new hotels take their place alongside the simple hostels (hostels) and Gran Madrid hotels that were once ancient symbol of the city. The budget travelers have not been left out of the Revolution with some new fine lodges and many old favorites, a touch of nature elevates them above the rest. Interestingly, besides the bedrooms, they often find a private bathroom and TV. mid-range accommodation is equally diverse with hotels hotels can Encanto (charming, often housed in historic buildings), sharing the market with monuments of great elegance to the fashion of the 21st century. Totally devoid of congestion, hotels and hostels in this category allow you to feel pampered without the price tag. Madrid, five-star hotels are the ultimate in luxury, even palaces or places that represent the height of innovation. Madrid Accommodation prices vary according to season, not always visible. In general, most midrange and high end places have different price structures High season (high season), the media season (average) or low season (season), all usually a warning reception or nearby, but there is little agreement among hoteliers, when in fact the season starts and ends. As such. Housing prices in this book are a guide and always check the amount of space before leaving their bags, and remember that prices may change over time. In the best places, advance booking is always a good idea. Virtually all hotels in Madrid prices are subject to 7% VAT (the Spanish version of value added tax). This is often included in the quoted price in cheaper places, but often less expensive than Atmore. To check, ask: “This include VAT?” (“VAT is included.”) In some cases, VAT will be charged only ask for a receipt. Choosing where to stay in Madrid is not just price. Each district has its own identity and, if you decide to stay play an important role in their experience in Madrid. To get an idea of where you are most likely to feel at home, read the Best “in the text box Barrio”, which correspond to each of the districts of Madrid. One last thing: in Spain in double room (double room) usually indicates a bedroom with two single beds. Bikes, couples must apply for a bed – literally, a bed – which is usually a double bed.

The best places to eat in Madrid are not necessarily expensive, but as the supply of tapas bars and restaurants is so high, only the difficulty of doing it is very clear. I was recently asked by a friend who was visiting Madrid, what, where the best places to eat well, and here a quick result of that conversation.
In the center of the city of Madrid, you can eat a daily menu for € 8, which is about 5 pounds in most restaurants around the old town. The covers are actually quite common, but the Spanish are two parallel streets primarely called Cava Baja and Cava Alta, to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer with tapas (Spanish appetizers).
One of the “must stop” restaurants, is located on Cutlers Street known as Restaurant Botin, is actually the oldest in the world, celebrities and Hollywood stars, presidents and prime ministers have been there. In fact, this restaurant was so successful that the owner, Emilio Botin, is one of the richest people in Spain and enjoy being president of the Banco Santander.
While Botin Restaurant has a reputation, not necessarily the best restaurant. A few minutes walk Cuchilleros street is a place called Casa Lucio, who has to book months in advance. The house specialty is called “starry eggs” that are simply chips with fried eggs on it. Once you try this dish certainly become addicted to it. Casa Lucio saw guests like Bill Clinton, Margaret Thatcher or George W . Bush. Rates are still very accessible.
If you want to experience the real Spain, go to any tapas bar called “Lizarran” are found in almost all districts of Madrid. Lizarran is a franchise that offers self-service drinks and snacks, you can take the screen in the bar and will be charged at the counter when you’re done for the number of sticks of wood to the left of the plate. It s common practice among the people of Madrid trying to hide some clubs to get free tapas, but beware, if you get caught is a fairly embarrassing.
Opposite the Royal Palace and near the Opera Café de Oriente, probably the best of Madrid terraces with excellent views and live music in summer, is furnished in 18th century France at affordable prices. The candlelight, the atmosphere of the Plaza de Oriente at night and quality of food sitting in a perfect place for a romantic dinner.
If you can afford, restaurant and terrace at the Hotel Ritz is one of the best places, especially the Sunday brunch is simply breathtaking. It takes a lot ‘of preparation, but the end result is fantastic. The Hotel Ritz is also’ the place ‘where all the stars in Hollywood to stay and eat in their premieres throughout the year.
Other high-quality restaurants are Donostiarra Grill, El Amparo, Lhardy and Portobello, where David Beckham enjoyed many lunches while playing for Real Madrid. Madrid hotels are very expensive, so they remain privately owned apartments in Madrid you can save money and invest more wisely to eat out. The same advice applies for or apartments in Barcelona

Hotels in Madrid

Hotel Wellington

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and was a very pleasant experience. The first priority for booking a hotel, good facilities and location. Wellington Hotel has much in what was a short distance to major attractions including the Golden Triangle of Art, Parque del Retiro and Madrid’s main tourist attractions. The rooms were good to stay to provide basic services such as king-size bed with crisp white linen cloth and pillows, wireless Internet, satellite TV and minibar. The bathroom was in good clean white marble floors and an enormous bathtub. The breakfast buffet is served each morning as a gift. A Kabuki Wellington had sushi with the best wines in the world. When we returned to the hotel after the sightseeing, we were cock-tails and tapas in the lounge, with soft piano in the background. The pool is the centerpiece of the hotel, in a quiet environment. And “one of the best hotels in Madrid.

Hotel Ritz Madrid

Synonymous with luxury, superb restaurant was fantastic and perfect. From birth, when we reached the hotel staff were there to welcome us and take your luggage. Registration is acute and a staff member, along with his younger accompanied us to our suite.
